Yes - it is true!  We will not be having the triathlon at Lake Caroline this summer.  Sad but true.  There are several reasons why we are not able to have the race in June.  I can promise you that there has been much prayer and discussion and that this was a very difficult decision.

I also want to let you know that TRI4GOD will keep going.  Plans are being made to have a Family TRI4GOD triathlon weekend in September.  Kids tri on a Friday evening and the adults tri on Saturday morning.  It will be in Cleveland, MS at Delta State University and take the place of the DSU Triathlon.  We are still working on this and it is yet to be finalized. So keep checking the webpage for information.  Plans are for the race to be sanctioned and hopefully chip timing. 

I want to thank all of you for coming to Lake Caroline and participating in our race there.  Wow - how the race grew!  We had the best volunteers, sponsors, music and the Lord truly blessed our efforts. 

I hope you will continue racing with TRI4GOD and can come to Cleveland.  I pray that the Lord will bless our new efforts and you as you train!
